Tell Me a Story

Tucked away in the hills

and along country roads

are stories to be told…

if only walls could talk.

Stories of love and life,

heartache and death,

success and failure,

but all need to be penned.

Oh, that I might one day be still

long enough to listen and record.

Before I, too, become too old.

  1. You have so many years left, my friend! You are ‘young at heart’ and that will take you great places for a long time to come. We need to do a road trip and find some more of these tumbling structures and think of…’if these walls could talk’. I have an idea forming…will get back to you on that one! 😉

      • Thank you for sharing your thoughts which I also believe. I remember seeing a couple of those old places as you took us on a drive around Council Grove. Remembering those trails you called roads. Memories! Great.
